JavaScript Job: Lead Developer

• JOB TYPE: Freelance, Contract Position (no agencies/C2C - see notes below)

THE OPPORTUNITY

Requirements

• Must have experience building in React

• Experience working directly with clients and overseeing front and back-end development of new website builds

• Strong understanding of interactive design processes and best practices and ability to lead a creative team through the stages of development

What you’ll be working on

• Our client has two website redesign projects that will involve building a net-new codebase in Next.js that is responsive, assessable, and matches the designs produced by the design team in Figma. They will also require a build of a new CMS in Sanity.io.

• Both website projects involve rebranding. Their team is bringing a fresh and modern approach to the brand’s visual identity and rebuilding its current tech stacks. They are a small creative team that works closely together through every stage of the design & build process. Both clients are small-mid-size businesses that are looking to us for expertise and guidance in areas of design and web development.

• Looking for someone that is comfortable with a small team environment, is able to be a leader, confident making decisions and directing on next steps, but also can pull up sleeves when necessary and help get the work done

First few deliverables:

Marketing website for a software/tech company to launch in March-April of 2023
